Elizavecca Hellpore Oil Mist | Review

Hello!

Today I will be doing a product review from the Korean beauty brand Elizavecca Milkypiggy’s Hell-Pore Water Up Peptide EGF Mist One Button (150ml). I received this product from 0.8L (0.8Liters USA) a while back to try it to see whether or not I would want to make a purchase on a product like this again after publishing a review on their website. Now, I’ll save the topic “What is 0.8L?” for another post, unless otherwise you are really curious to know what it is feel free to shoot me an email and I would be more than happy to tell you more about it. Now onto the review…

The Hell-Pore Water Up Peptide EGF Mist One Button is a product made in Korea from the brand Elizavecca Milkypiggy, a product that’s made to moisturize the skin and allow it flexibility. As it is infused with a charming scent of the rose centifolia flower, the fragrance allows the product to achieve an overall feeling of relaxation as well as adding a softness effect. The heart of the product lies within the product’s natural oil proteins of the jojoba seed minerals and collagen which gives the product it’s full effect.

Although many Korean beauty products may not come with English instructions and directions on how to use, I was very lucky to say that this one did upon the few that I have received previously. On the back of the box is a short biography of the product printed both in Korean and English along with the direction of use, the properties of the product, list of ingredients, and warnings of adverse reaction.

As much as I would love to want to love this product, I must not after discovering that this product was not fit for my skin. I’ve only used this twice after noticing that it caused some sort of adverse reaction to my skin. The product itself did not say when to use the product so I chose to use it at night since it was a cleansing product. So the very first night I used it I made sure I had a cleansed face and followed the direction of how to use the product and went to bed and everything was fine. The next morning I noticed there were some small speckled red spots on the middle of my forehead but didn’t really think nothing of it. The following night I decided to use a little more of the spray, much more than I had used the night before, and after finishing spraying my face and massaging the water into my skin and after staring really hard at myself in the mirror I noticed so many of the small speckled red spots beginning to form all over the areas the mist touched my skin. I began freaking and immediately rinsed my face with water and proceeded a face wash with my Neutrogena face wash. The direction on the label was to consult a doctor immediately if adverse reaction occurred but I didn’t and would rather not unless it really became severe. Luckily the next morning I woke up with a clear face, thank goodness. The spots went away and my skin turned out fine. After that hassle, I just never used the product again.

I would also like to say that beyond my personal experience, the product is very lightweight and the scent is very refreshing. It reminded me of the MAC cosmetics Prime + Prime Fix+ setting spray that’s enriched with a refreshing scent of blended green tea leaves, chamomile, and cucumber to achieve that refreshing feel. It’s also very easy to use and handle. Again, as much as I would love to want to love this product, I cannot. & what doesn’t work for me may work for you, vice versa.

I also would like to thank 0.8L USA for allowing me to review this product upon receiving it. & if you would like to see more reviews of products like these or anything in general, please let me know. You may contact me via my email on the Contact page by leaving your name, email, etc… If you also have any other suggestions of what you would like for me to talk about or post on my blog, please do not hesitate and let me know!
